Professional Experience

Brent Metzler joined Kingery & Crouse, PA in 2011 as a senior manager in our tax department. He is a graduate of the Fisher School of Business at The Ohio State University. Prior to joining Kingery & Crouse, PA, Brent worked with a national CPA firm in their international tax department as well as with a high net worth practice where he serviced CEOs and board members of some of the largest companies in the United States. At Kingery & Crouse Brent manages the firms' tax engagements and helps to build new and existing relationships. He also manages complex research projects and federal and state tax audits for clients. In addition, Brent represents the firm through speaking engagements on various and relevant tax topics.

Brent specializes in inbound and outbound transactions dealing with multinational corporations and individuals. He understands the unique tax needs of multinational clients and works closely with them and their advisors to minimize worldwide taxes to help them reach their financial goals. Brent has helped resolve many voluntary disclosure cases with the Internal Revenue Service on behalf of clients with unreported foreign income and offshore bank accounts. He also advises on pre-residency planning for high net worth non-resident aliens and U.S. citizens living and working abroad. Some of his recent projects include the 2011 Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Initiative, passive foreign investment company analysis, and inbound business start-up planning.
