Reviews and Compilations

Kingery & Crouse works with private companies in a variety of industries that do not require an audit, but have a need for limited assurance regarding their financial statements. Our clients include companies in the West Central Florida area including Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Sarasota and Manatee counties.

While an audit requires that the accountants obtain reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements are free of material misstatement, a review expresses limited assurance that there are no material modifications that should be made to a company's financial statements. Both an audit and review result in the issuance of an accountant's report.

A compilation is limited to presenting in the form of financial statements information that is the representation of management. In a compilation, an accountant's report is issued, but no assurance is expressed on the financial statements.

Our reviews and compilations lend credibility to our clients' financial statements and add value by helping our clients achieve their financial goals. Our management team has significant experience working for large international accounting firms and public companies. As a result of our experience, we have extensive knowledge of technical accounting, internal controls and operations. We are registered with the PCAOB and are members of the AICPA which requires us to regularly undergo inspections by the PCAOB and Peer Reviews by another independent accounting firm.
