Professional Experience

C. Lynne Smith joined Kingery & Crouse in 2004 as a partner in the Accounting and Auditing department and has 25 years of public accounting experience.   She is a graduate of Stetson University having Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accountancy degrees.

Lynne began her career in the Orlando office of Deloitte & Touche, LLP in 1987 providing accounting and auditing services to both private and publicly held companies.  Her experience at Deloitte & Touche afforded her the opportunity to develop expertise in various industries, including manufacturing and distribution, automobile dealerships, banking and publishing.  During this time, Lynne had the opportunity to work on the engagement team that served General Cinema and managed portions of the engagement supervising various teams nationwide.

In 1994, Lynne joined Vestal & Wiler, an Orlando based firm, where as one of five shareholders, she enjoyed the opportunity to be a part of the leadership team focused on  significantly growing their practice to one of Central Florida’s most prominent firms.  During her tenure with Vestal & Wiler as shareholder in the accounting and auditing department, Lynne continued to develop expertise in middle market industries and specifically served clients in manufacturing and distribution, construction, real estate development and hospitality.  She was privileged to serve as the engagement partner on some of the firm’s largest clients, including ABC Fine Wine & Spirits and The Kessler Collection of hotels and resorts founded and developed by Richard Kessler, a prominent hotel and real estate developer who was co-founder of the Days Inn organization.  Additionally, Lynne was the lead shareholder responsible for developing and managing the firm’s services to employee benefit plans, which included serving over 70 benefit plans.

In 2004, Lynne joined the Kingery & Crouse team as a partner in the accounting and auditing department.   Since that time, she has been a part of many of the firm’s most significant SEC engagements, and continues to also serve middle market private companies, and lead our employee benefit practice.  She is passionate about serving clients and developing the firm and its professionals and continues to contribute to the success Kingery & Crouse.
