Professional Experience

Neil Winter became a shareholder at Kingery & Crouse in January 2010. He has over 30 years of accounting experience both in public accounting and industry. Neil is a graduate of Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting.

Neil began his career in 1974 in New York in public accounting and quickly progressed to become a controller and director of a public company in Denver, Colorado in 1978. He then shifted back to public accounting in 1983 with a Denver firm focusing on providing audited financial statements and other financial information required in registration statements and annual and periodic reports filed with the SEC.

In 1996 Neil became the CFO and director at a public distribution company in Sarasota, Florida where he was responsible for internal control, management reporting, accounting functions, SEC reporting process, and communications with financial institutions and shareholders. In addition, from 1995 to 1999, he was a director of a public small business investment Company which subsequently merged with another public entity.

From 2000 through 2009 he was a partner in the firm of Stark Winter Schenkein & Co., LLP based in Denver, Colorado where he was responsible for the firm's SEC practice and provided auditing and review services to publicly traded companies.

Since joining Kingery & Crouse, Neil has served many of the firm's larger public audit clients as both the lead partner and engagement quality review partner. He also leads the firm's public company business development efforts.
